Asynchronous is fully self-paced with no scheduled classes. Your child works through the course material independently, and a teacher marks and grades all submitted work. All three packages are Cognia-accredited and NCAA-approved with the same transcript credentials.

Pricing is per course and varies by grade level. Elementary courses (grades K-5): Asynchronous $415, Flex $1,275, Synchronous $2,125. Middle and high school courses (grades 6-12): Asynchronous $535, Flex $1,525, Synchronous $2,500. A small number of half-credit courses are priced at half the standard rate. What does the Asynchronous package include?

Full access to all course content and materials, with all coursework marked and graded by an assigned teacher. Your child works independently at their own pace with no scheduled class times. The Asynchronous package does not include access to the online teacher chat or any live interaction with teachers. Families who want direct teacher communication should consider the Flex or Synchronous packages.

Weekly live lessons with a qualified teacher, delivered to a group of up to 20 students. All sessions are recorded and available for replay anytime. Students also get access to the online chat platform for direct communication with teachers between lessons, and all coursework is marked and graded by the assigned teacher.

Weekly live lessons in an intimate small-group setting of no more than 4 students per class. Your child gets direct, real-time interaction with the teacher during every lesson, access to the online chat platform for ongoing communication between sessions, personalized feedback and academic support, and all coursework marked and graded by their assigned teacher. All AP courses are delivered exclusively through the Synchronous package.

Are AP courses available in all three packages?

No. AP courses are offered through the Synchronous package only. This ensures every AP student gets the focused, small-group instruction and direct teacher interaction that Advanced Placement coursework demands. Score Academy Online currently offers 20 AP courses across subjects including English, math, science, social studies, world languages, and computer science.

Yes. Score Academy Online offers rolling enrollment. Students can start at any point during the academic year. Admissions will build a transition plan that accounts for credits already earned.

Yes. Middle school and high school courses share the same pricing: $535 per course (Asynchronous), $1,525 (Flex), or $2,500 (Synchronous). Elementary courses (grades K-5) are priced lower: $415 (Asynchronous), $1,275 (Flex), or $2,125 (Synchronous) per course.

What are half-credit courses?

A small number of courses, such as Economics and Personal Finance and Money Management, are half-credit courses. These are priced at half the standard per-course rate. Your child receives half a credit toward graduation for completing one. Admissions can walk you through which courses in your child's plan carry half credit.
